Three to four months post delivery, one cant even think of fitting in to pre-conception jeans/trousers and even of you start fitting in to one, it will put pressure on the internal stitches and they will hurt badly. I tried high-waist paper bag pants for the first time, and believe you me, they are the comfiest pants that one can ever wear postpartum apart from maternity wear. High-waist paper bag pants are so damn forgiving around the belly, if you had a c-sec, these pants are going to be your best friend for outings as well as work wear.
I got these high waist paper bag trousers from H&M in size 6P. They are in woven fabric and have a check pattern. Pleated at the waist, they have front zip with hook and bar closure. They hit me below the ankle, the length is 65cm. I paired them up with a top in tan colour from Marks and Spencer in size 6. It is a light-weight knitted top made of comfortable stretch material and has a turtleneck. It is perfect for layering in winters. I have accessorized the look with a necklace from H&M and the heels are from Steve Madden.
