I am a big big big fan of Mary Orton. Her aesthetics are on point and I definitely resonate with her style. Twice a year I wait in excitement for her series ’30 Dresses in 30 days’. The thought she puts in selecting dresses keeping each and every occasion in mind is unmatched. The suggested dresses are amazing covering all festivities and are actually wearable.
Here is my affordable pick for petite frame from Zara for a date night. The moment I saw this dress all I could think of was Mary Orton and my look is inspired by her (I know it isn’t as polished as hers). Unlike her, I am just 5 ft tall, in other words, yeah, I am short!
The dress has velvet polka dots all over and the sleeves are short and puffy. It has elasticated inside waist and invisible side zip fastening. The skirt has a ruffled hem. I wasn’t too comfortable with the deep v-neck, hence wore a spaghetti top underneath.
