My fingernails grow fast and I like to have them short. Since the day I have filed my nails, I have only used a metal file even though I found it harsh on my nails (I didn’t have any other option for filing). Three years ago, I came across an article on glass files and got to know how gentle they are in comparison to metal files. From that day, my hunt for a glass file began. I found this beautifully hued glass file on the shelves of Sephora. Continue reading “Sephora Collection Glass Nail File”
My Marks & Spencer’s Magnolia body wash was almost over and I needed a new one. This time I was looking for something with a gel consistency, mild and fragrantly different. I don’t like fragrances that are too sweet. I headed to the Innisfree store after finding nothing at the M&S and The Body Shop. While I was sniffing through various bottles at Innisfree with a hope that something would click, the fragrance of Innisfree Cedar Wood body cleanser transported me to the world of cedar forest reminding me of Manali where the scent of magnificent cedar trees brings peace and tranquillity and takes over one’s fatigue. I was so happy to have found a fragrance that would calm my sense in this scorching heat that I ended up buying the Innisfree Cedar Wood body lotion as well. Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash is my very first product from the brand Kiehl’s. It has gel like consistency with mild floral fragrance. A little amount of the face wash goes a long way, I use half a pump for my entire face and neck (I have a sensitive-combination skin type). It is very gentle on the face, removes all the makeup and impurities with ease, doesn’t leave any residue and skin feels soft after using it without any tightness. I have been using it for past one month. Continue reading “Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash”
I have a sensitive-combination skin type. The t-zone and cheeks get extremely oily during warm and humid weather. During winter season, moisturizing creams make my t-zone oily. I was looking for something that could hydrate my skin without making the t-zone oily and has anti-ageing properties as well. In the past I have used Lancome’s Advanced Genifique (a serum I loved to the core), but this time I didn’t want to splurge on luxury. So, one fine day at the Innisfree store I told the attendant what my concerns were, then he suggested me Jeju Lava Seawater Essence. I tried it at the back of my hand and instantly loved the texture. An essence is more light weight and a little less concentrated than a serum. Using essence is an important part of the Korean skincare routine. Continue reading “Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Essence”
I have fine hair that get dry and frizzy after washing. I don’t use a conditioner post wash as it weighs down my hair and does nothing to tame the frizz. I have been using the Moroccan Oil Treatment regularly for the past 2 years. When I had long hair (till waist) I used to take one pump but now I have short hair (above shoulder), less than half a pump is more than enough. I take it on my palm, rub it all over my hands to warm it up (just like when you apply a hand cream) and then I run my fingers through the towel-dried hair from mid-lengths to end. Depending on how lazy I am feeling, I either blow dry or let my hair air dry. Immediately after application my hair feel soft, smooth and has shine. If you happen to go overboard, it will weigh your hair down.
The Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment has thick and heavy texture. It comes in a glass bottle with a dispenser. The bottle isn’t travel friendly as it quite heavy. I bought it from Looks Salon in South-Ex II. I am not sure if it available at departmental stores in India.
If you want to try the Moroccanoil Treatment, buy a 50ml bottle first and if you happen to like it then you may buy a 100ml one. The 100ml bottle lasts for a long time even after the regular use.
Have you ever tried Moroccanoil Treatment before? What do you think of it?
